Nemi Bot ("Nemi") and its developers comply to Discord's Terms of Service (TOS) and Privacy Policy.

Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 17, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms & Modifications

By adding Nemi Bot ("Nemi") to your Discord server or interacting with it, you agree to these Terms of Service.

  • Right to Modify: We reserve the right to change, update, or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the current terms.

2. Right to Refuse Service & Enforcement

  • Absolute Discretion: We reserve the right to refuse service, ban users, or blacklist servers at any time, for any reason, or no reason at all.
  • Malicious Activity: Purposefully feeding Nemi harmful, illegal, or "jailbreak" data to compromise the AI will result in an immediate ban and a total wipe of your user data/history.
  • Ban Evasion: If identified that a banned user has evaded a ban via any means, the new account will also be banned without prior notice.
  • No Refunds & Support: All transactions are final; no refunds shall be provided for any reason. Customer support and service provided by the developers are subject to change or withdrawal at any time.

3. Nature of Service & Risk Awareness

  • AI Output: Nemi is an AI agent that may generate inaccurate or inappropriate content despite existing filters; such output is beyond the developers' control.
  • Reality Check: No interaction with Nemi is based in reality. All responses are generated for entertainment.
  • Addiction Warning: Interaction—specifically for roleplay—can be addictive. User discretion is strictly advised.

4. Limitation of Liability

The developers of Nemi claim no liability for any damages whatsoever. This includes direct, indirect, or consequential damages, server moderation issues, data loss, or emotional/psychological distress arising from usage. The developers are not liable for any monetary loss related to Nemi.

5. Waiver of Right to Sue & Mandatory Arbitration

By using Nemi, you explicitly waive your right to a class action or lawsuit.

  • Mandatory Arbitration: Any disputes must be resolved via binding arbitration.
  • Arbitration Costs: You agree that any and all costs associated with arbitration (including legal fees and administrative costs) shall be borne entirely at your own expense ("on your own dime").

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 17, 2026

1. Data Collection & Live-Learning System

  • Collection: Nemi collects Message Content, User/Guild IDs, and Technical Metadata.
  • Live-Learning: Nemi learns and "trains" itself using live interaction data. By using Nemi, you acknowledge that the bot's knowledge base expands solely through new messages and user inputs in real-time. Manual software updates do not expand Nemi's knowledge; the users drive the learning process live.
  • Third-Party Providers: Data is processed via Groq and OpenRouter. By using Nemi, you automatically accept the TOS and Privacy Policies of these third parties.

2. Data Storage & Security Disclaimer

  • Volatile Memory: 9-message context window in RAM.
  • Encrypted Database: The last 50 interactions per user are stored in an encrypted local database for personality consistency.
  • Security Disclaimer: While data is protected and encrypted, its safety cannot be guaranteed. In the case of any data breach, the developers face no liability or responsibility in safeguarding your data.
  • Sensitive Data: Sensitive information (e.g. payment details, addresses) is filtered and redacted locally before any storage occurs. No traces, logs, or dumps of such data are created at any stage, and no third parties are involved in this process.
  • Debug Logs: System interactions are recorded in chat.log for oversight; there is currently no limit on the retention of debug logs.

3. Data Rights & Retention

  • Rolling Deletion: Standard chat data is overwritten automatically after 50 messages.
  • Deletion Requests: Users may contact developers to request manual deletion.
  • Self-Service: Premium users have access to the /forgetme command (currently in testing) for self-service data wiping.

Use at your own discretion.
